What clients often ask.

How long does a typical project take?

Project timelines vary based on scope, product lead times, trade availability, and the level of construction involved. During the early conversations, we help outline a realistic timeline so you understand the major phases, expected decisions, and what needs to happen before work begins.

What is the difference between Design and Design + Build?

Design covers the plans, finishes, palette, and styling — and stays close to your contractor through the build. Design + Build means we hold both sides ourselves: the studio completing the design is also managing the construction - ensuring a seamless experience from concept through completion.

Do you work outside the Twin Cities?

Many of our projects are in the Minneapolis–St. Paul suburbs, where being on site easily is part of how we work, we also will take on select projects in outside of that geographical area.

How does pricing typically work?

We begin with a design fee that reflects the scope of the project, the rooms involved, and the amount of planning, selections, and detail needed. If the project moves forward into construction, a separate construction fee is outlined based on the approved scope. Our goal is to talk through investment ranges early, clearly, and openly so there are no surprises before work begins.
